Cyclical Monitoring Day 2 (Documentation and Special Ed Handbook)

Join ROE8 for a professional learning series designed to support districts in preparing for ISBE’s Cyclical Monitoring process. Each session focuses on a critical component of monitoring—from district-level policies and procedures to developing a compliant special education handbook, to conducting effective IEP file reviews aligned to ISBE requirements.

Intended Audience: District/School teams consisting of at least one administrator and one special educator. Strongly suggested to have the same team attend all three sessions.

-A list of tools and exemplars for a special education handbook
-A plan for completing a district special education handbook as part of the cyclical monitoring requirement
