2025-2026 LETRS Training Year 2 - Start Date

Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling (LETRS) equips educators with the tools to apply Science of Reading research in their classrooms, ensuring they can effectively teach language and literacy skills regardless of the curriculum or program their district uses. The second volume of LETRS contains four units of eight sessions each. The main focus of Volume 2 is language comprehension. *It is required to have pre-approval from your District due to the in-person requirement, and to have successfully completed LETRS Volume 1. *Participants must be able to complete online modules that require 1.5-2 hours per week. *Participants must attend full day LETRS Unit workshops after each six-week unit, totaling four workshops. This cohort will be hosted in a hybrid format beginning August 4, 2025 and concluding no later than May 22, 2026. The in person training dates will be held at the ROE #8 PD Room on Sep 19, Nov 13, Feb 19, April 23 from 8:30am-3:00pm The cost to attend this training is $249 and will include the LETRS Participant Materials Bundle (Print + License) and lunch/snack for the 4 in person attendance days.
