AA#4050 Evaluator Initial Training and Retraining for Principals and Assistant Principals

This two-day academy is for educators who are seeking initial training qualification or retraining to be legally qualified to conduct evaluations of principals and assistant principals. The academy provides instruction on implementing a continuous school leader growth model using the School Leader Evaluation Plan, which is based on the School Leader Paradigm developed by the School Leader Collaborative, a group of 14 state principal associations from across the country. The plan is aligned to the Illinois Performance Standards for School Leaders and meets the requirements of 23 Illinois Administrative Code 50 Subpart D: Performance Evaluation Plans: Principals and Assistant Principals. -Meets 8:30am-3:30pm on August 13 and August 14 -Participants will receive copies of required materials, either in print or digital, as well as snacks, coffee, water, and lunch. -To be eligible to attend, each participant must complete ISBE-required pre-work at least 72 hours before the training You will receive a separate email from the presenter once the date gets closer. -Registrants will receive both a confirmation email and calendar invitation after registering. Participants who do not receive these should email laura.heath@roe8org. -No refunds for this workshop unless cancelled by ROE#8. -Holding this training is contingent on having a minimum number of attendees. If we do not meet that minimum number by July 30, 2025, the workshop will be canceled and reimbursements sent out. -Payment is required at the time of registration.
